I was an early recruit to FSU as a pitcher, outfielder, and slapper. My time at Florida State taught me the importance of tradition, legacy, and teamwork. After graduating, I fell into a career that I thought would garner applause, but I soon learned that I wasn't fulfilled. I offered private pitching and hitting lessons on the side, but I truly loved the mental aspect of coaching. I became a certified mental wellness coach and began coaching all women. In a short time, I realized how natural it was for me to use sports examples and give pep talks. From there, I learned that my best clients were female athletes. While coaching. I found a massive need for retired female athletes and the lack of community for women who have spent their entire lives on teams and with support systems. I created Sportswomen in the summer of 2023, where we build in-person and virtual communities, host events, and provide resources for athletes beyond the game. Sportswomen.co
