Build a target list that spans levels: a few reaches, several realistic, and a few safeties. Coaches at every division recruit athletes who show genuine interest in their specific program.
D1 programs that opted into the House settlement fund a roster capped at 25; D2 has 7.2 scholarship equivalencies; NCAA D3 offers no athletic aid at all but often meets need with academic and institutional grants; NAIA and JUCO carry their own limits.
